Could this be my new favorite place?
A great place with great design and great sushi.

When I walked to Sushi Musa from Woden Hotel in Canberra couple of days ago, I had one thought: man, I miss my family. I’d had thought before—on a sunny day on a vehicle that took me to the hotel from Canberra Hospital how lucky I was to be able to have my mother and father with me. We were strolling through Canberra, although I was unwell at the time, being with my family strengthened me, plus I have 17 friends who I thought of as family. We might be apart but our memories will always stay in my heart.

Ever since mid-2019, when a friend of mine took me out to eat sushi. I’ve fallen in love with the smell and taste of sushi, I have had the desire to flee and eat sushi on my own. It didn’t matter where. What mattered was that I leave the familiar shops and streets where my footsteps now echoed louder as I was away from my hometown. Sushi Musa had K-pop songs playing on the background too, I feel welcomed. Somehow, it resulted with us going there twice.

As I was away from my hometown, I wanted to run away, to go somewhere mysterious and distant. Surely, I thought, there were places in Canberra that remind me of Yogyakarta. I was haunted by the memories of a city,

Yogyakarta ingkang kawula tresna”.

p.s. This place serves great sushi, the staffs are very welcoming and friendly. A top recommended place to visit when you're in Canberra, near a shopping mall too.

serves great sushi, so be sure to check this place out when you are in Canberra.
